Tourette Syndrome Team TSA Marathons and More

Join TEAM TSA today! With your support, TSA can continue to fund research to discover a cause and find a cure for TS, while providing education programs, awareness activities and other services for people living with TS and their families.

Members of TEAM TSA participated in various events at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on Jan. 5-7, 2007. Above team members assembled in front of a mock pirate ship to gear up for Princess and Pirate 5K. More than 60 people signed up to be a part of the team and raised almost $65,000 to fund research to find a cure for Tourette Syndrome while supporting educational and awareness activities!! It was a beautiful day for the 28 members of TEAM TSA, who enjoyed running, walking or cycling along the ocean for the Long Beach Marathon on Oct. 15, 2006. The Southern California Chapter recruited an additional 20 volunteers to put medals on finishers. The team raised more than $11,000 to help TSA get One Lap Closer To A Cure! KNOCKING DOWN TS
Ty Redmond (front center) got together his friends, family members and co-workers and hosted a TEAM TSA bowl-a-thon Saturday Oct. 7, 2006 at Chelsea Piers in New York City. Ty created a web page on our individual site and raised more than $2,000!! He planned and organized a great event providing each participant with a T-Shirt embroidered with "Knocking Down TS", informational literature and a copy of "I Have Tourette's, But Tourette's Doesn't Have Me". Ty plans to make this an annual event.

Running to make a difference for people living with TS, Brian Evans, Victoria Luz and Holly Warchol ran hard and finished in record times Sunday August 13, 2006 at the Chicago Distance Classic.
